Technical Assistance to Strengthen Capabilities (TASC) – Nutrition Information and Analysis Systems in Yemen

To support to strengthen nutrition information systems in Yemen with support from the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in close collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)/Yemen country office.
To review the Nutrition Information and Analysis Systems (NIS) in Yemen through a rapid scoping exercise, an analysis of the pathways of nutrition data management in Yemen, conducting a (virtual) stakeholders meeting, and preparation of an analysis report and presentation for validation.
This is to systematically identify factors that prevent the collection, analysis, dissemination, and utilization of timely, accurate, and representative nutrition information in Yemen, which is aimed to help stakeholders, clearly define a set of sequential actions (immediate, short-term, and long-term) aimed to address key challenges and barriers in the NIS to help improve the overall availability, quality, and utilization of data; through in-depth consultation with relevant stakeholders and a desk-based scoping review.
