Development of a Knowledge Management and Capacity Development Learning Framework for the Regional Durable Solutions Secretariat
This was a consultancy project, commissioned by ReDSS (Regional Durable Solutions Secretariat), a coordination and information hub that stimulates forward-thinking and policy development on durable solutions for displaced affected communities in East and Horn of Africa. The objective of this consultancy was to develop ReDSS comprehensive knowledge management and capacity development strategy using various learning approaches to promote a culture of learning and reflection to improve durable solutions programming and policies and to strengthen the capacity of practitioners and policymakers in the field of durable solutions.
The outcome of this consultancy was a learning framework that included ReDSS learning vision, objectives, outputs, expected outcomes, learning approaches and processes that were to be used to enhance knowledge management and capacity development. In addition, a monitoring, evaluation and accountability frame that encompassed underlying assumptions, potential risks and proposed mitigation strategies were included.
