Dialogue for Action on Aid Localization in Somalia

Somali-led NGOs were looking to play a greater and more equal role in tackling the humanitarian crisis in Somalia using the Surge Capacity Model which enables the health system. A two-day dialogue for action on aid localization in Somalia was held in Nairobi aimed at bridging the gaps that existed between local and international actors. It also sought to create innovative solutions on how different actors can better cooperate and form long-term relationships. CHC supported Capacity Assessment, Representation, Funding, Long term Partnerships and Capacity Strengthening.
