The aim was to ensure equitable and effective humanitarian support to the most vulnerable.
The objectives were:
To provide a core team of advisors to bring the latest research and contextual knowledge to inform programming to mitigate marginalization and exclusion and to promote the transfer of learning for resilience programming. Specifically:
- To guide BRCiS and partners on identifying and reaching excluded and marginalized groups within the crisis-affected communities and their operational areas,
- To make recommendations to BRCiS supported partner organizations on testing approaches to deliver services and protect livelihoods, including finding alternative approaches, individuals and institutions which can be trusted to be channels of aid,
- Support BRCiS to analyze Post Distribution Monitoring and similar data to identify lessons learned.
- Facilitating key BRCiS decision maker’s reflections on identifying resilience lessons learned and promoting their transfer into action.
