Theory of Change Framework for Nutrition Resilience

Year : 2016
Countries : Kenya

CHC developed a Nutrition Resilience framework for Nutrition Resilience programming to provide support to stakeholders implementing programmes (Nutrition Specific and Sensitive) including elements for Nutrition and Nutrition Resilience.

CHC developed an approach that would enhance the existing potential to positively impact on nutrition status and nutrition resilience through simple first steps that were derived from the existing programmes to help the positive potential translate into positive outcomes and impacts.

The framework was constructed using a theory of change approach that allows indicators at process, output, outcome and impact level to be designed and used to monitor progress and allow an iterative approach to improving programming.

The framework has since been integrated into Nutrition and Nutrition Allied Sector (NAS) programmes
