USAID HoRN (JPC) Resilience Framework Design

CHC conducted a series of workshops to design a resilience framework for USAID East Africa Regional Resilience programming.

In order to inform the resilience framework, CHC ensured there was a joint understanding of the USAID resilience approach and its impact on programming, improving programming by sharing experiences and perspectives gained through implementation, and improving collaboration, learning and adaptation of programmes and partnerships. 

CHC looked at all the sectors to synthesize and identify key issues to develop a common framework. During the process, CHC interacted with all the partners and programmes across the USAID East Africa who are currently responding to the famine emergency in HoA. The resilience common framework has been adapted into the USAID resilience program in East Africa
